Qatar embassy authentication and visa services
Requirement of the Authentication of Documents
All authentication documents must be attached with two sets of colored photocopies (A4-size paper)
It is important to note that the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Manila only authenticates documents that are duly authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines and have a 1-year validity from the date of issuance. Documents authenticated by other embassies are also accepted.
The Embassy will collect an authentication fee per certificate or document (example: CHED CAV Certificate, transcript of records and diploma, certificate from school stating regular students, summary of related learning, five (5) certificates or documents).
W Express is required to receive only a visa and authentication.
W Express is required to receive all Gratis documents, such as death certificates, conversion to Islam certificates, DFA (diplomatic and official passports and Government visas if the applicants are outside Metro Manila with a free service charge.
Commercial applicants MUST file directly with the Embassy (required personal appearance in the Embassy).

VISA STICKER APPLICATION (QATAR)
A. FOR INDIVIDUAL APPLICANTS:
Working Visa
- Working Visa
- Valid original passport for more than 6 months
- Medical certificate issued by the Embassy’s accredited clinics.
- NBI clearance (for travel abroad) is authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines. (2 sets of photocopies, A4 size)
- 2-pcs. 2×2-sized pictures with a white background. The photo must be clear, sharp, and in focus; it must also show both edges of the face clearly, and the photo must show a full front view of the face and shoulders.
Personal/ Official/ or Government Visa:
- Visa notice (original, scanned, email, or photocopy)
- Valid original passport for more than 6 months
- 2-pcs. 2×2-sized pictures with a white background. The photo must be clear, sharp, and in focus; it must also show both edges of the face clearly, and the photo must show a full front view of the face and shoulders.
Resident / Family Resident/ Family Yearly Visas:
- Visa notice (original, scanned, email, or photocopy)
- Valid original passport for more than 6 months
- 2-pcs. 2×2-sized pictures with a white background. The photo must be clear, sharp, and in focus; it must also show both edges of the face clearly, and the photo must show a full front view of the face and shoulders.
- Letter of Invitation from the Sponsor or copy of affidavit of support for a tourist visa (original, scanned, or photocopy).
Business / Tourist Visa:
- Visa notice (original, scanned, email, or photocopy)
- Valid original passport for more than 6 months
- 2-pcs. 2×2-sized pictures with a white background. The photo must be clear, sharp, and in focus; it must also show both edges of the face clearly, and the photo must show a full front view of the face and shoulders.
- Letter of Invitation from the Sponsor or copy of affidavit of support for a tourist visa (original, scanned, or photocopy).
Seaman / Transit Visa:
- Visa notice (original, scanned, email, or photocopy)
- Valid original passport for more than 6 months
- 2-pcs. 2×2-sized pictures with a white background. The photo must be clear, sharp, and in focus; it must also show both edges of the face clearly, and the photo must show a full front view of the face and shoulders.
- Valid Seaman’s book
Return Permit /Balik Manggagawa:
- Return Permit
- Valid original passport for more than 6 months
- 2-pcs. 2×2-sized pictures with a white background. The photo must be clear, sharp, and in focus; it must also show both edges of the face clearly, and the photo must show a full front view of the face and shoulders.
- Medical certificate issued by the Embassy’s accredited clinics.
i. If the applicant stayed more than three (3) months in the Philippines
ii. Children ages 11 and below are exempt from medical requirements.
B. FOR AGENCY APPLICATION
Working Visa
- Visa notice (original, scanned, email, or photocopy)
- Valid original passport for more than 6 months
- A medical certificate issued by the Embassy’s accredited clinics only indicates the name of the agency; refer to Appendix (c).
- NBI clearance (for travel abroad) is authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines. (2 sets of photocopies, A4 size)
- 2-pcs. 2×2-sized pictures with a white background. The photo must be clear, sharp, and in focus; it must also show both edges of the face clearly, and the photo must show a full front view of the face and shoulders.

C. QATAR POLICE CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Qatar Police Clearance

Letter of request for police clearance, addressed to the Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Manila.

Makati City 1219 - The letter should state the following to secure police clearance:
- Purpose of securing police clearance
- Entry and exit dates in Qatar
- Details of a stay or work in Qatar
- Contact details of the former sponsors or employers
- Country requiring police clearance
- Address and contact details of the applicant
- Signature of the applicant

NBI Sundry card authenticated by DFA.
- 2 sets of photocopies of A4-size bond paper per page
- No back-to-back photocopies

Photocopies of the passport and its pertinent pages in connection to the applicant’s stay and travel in Qatar, including stamps of entry and exit dates from Qatar.
- Departure stamps from the Philippines
- Arrival stamps in Qatar
- Departure stamps from Qatar
- Arrival stamps in the Philippines
- For a lost passport, please submit an affidavit of loss and a Bureau of Immigration Certificate; the DFA must authenticate both.
- Fees: US$31.00 CASH (filing fee to be sent to Doha)
- Police Clearance Certificate Fee: PHP 1,750.00
- 5 pcs. 2×2 pictures on a white background
- Photocopy of Qatar I.D. (QID), if any, or Residency Sticker (IQAMA)
- Please note that the process of police clearance takes 2 to 3 months.
- W Express shall collect all Qatar fees upon submission of Qatar Police Clearance requirements.
